Hi guys! Take time to read the CPA Tips Part 2. Though it is longer, you will learn a lot of ideas on how, when, why, and what to review. Also, it will inspire you. You may also share your tips and reviewers to read, in the comment section.
1. Sir Aljon
- Plan ahead. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Create a time table everyday, realistic plan and follow the plan.
- TA H.O. - read as received. Answer first before discussion.
- Adopt your review style

- Expand your network
- Enjoy and have fun!
- Preparation for the Board Exams should be whollistic - physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually prepared
- Process of elimination sa choices. Prove other choices are wrong.
- Effective learning happens when you answer not only the question how but also why
2. Sir Nico
- Always read the requirements first!
- "Sagutin mo ako dyan sa upuan mo kahit pabulong lang o mali pa ang sagot mo para natututo ka."
- Bago ka pumasok sa review class mas okay na nasolve mo na yung h.o. mo para magcoconfirm ka na lang ng sagot.
- Stick to 1 review material. Pagkatiwalaan mo yung review materials ng ReSA. Do not overwhelm yourself with too many reviewers. Ang importante stick with one material at kumpletuhin mo yung review nung material na yan.
- Take good care of your health. Wag magpupuyat. Okay na yung 6hrs of sleep. Give your enough time of rest. Wag mo akong paandaran ng 8hrs of sleep. Sanggol lang natutulog ng ganun kahaba. Utang na loob wag mo akong tutulugan. Wala kang excuse na magmanuk manukan dyan. Gagawa ka ng paraan para magising
- If you are travelling an hour or mo mag review during your travel time. Magsolve ka ng problems sa lrt.
- Organize your review materials palagi para di ka tamarin mag aral.
- Make sure everyday nagsosolve ng problems.
- Completion over mastery. Dapat maaral mo lahat kesa master ka nga ng bank reconciliation tapos ibang topics di mo alam. Di ka pa rin makakapasa.
- Maganda na pagdaanan mo yung buong process ng board exam na meron kang inspiration. Isipin mo sa sarili mo kung bakit gusto mo makapasa sa exam. It will always push you through your limits every time you face hardships in reviewing.
- Utang loob wag mo akong tutulugan.
- Time Management. Ang accounting parang math yan eh. Kailangan ng practice. Kailangan may personal time ka para magsolve ng problems at theories on your own. Gawin mo na agad agad yung review wag mo na ipagpabukas kase di mo mamalayan ubos na yung bukas mo.
- Mas maganda na pagdaraanan mo yung buong process nang pagiging CPA nang may inspirasyon ka bakit gusto mong maging CPA. Bakit ka gumigising ng napakaaga para pumasok sa review or di kaya mag aral?
- If the WHY is clear, then the HOW is easy.
4. Dayag
- Inspire
- Never give up and if you fail stand up again and fight.
- Have faith.
- A low morale increase the risk of making mistakes.
- Make the most out of your time.
- Life is all about learned perception. Isipin mo madali lang ang mga bagay bagay para hindi maging mahirap.
- Be consistent sa pag rereview, wag aabsent, mag advance study at magpractice.
- Mahirap maging CPA pero mas mahirap pag hindi ka naging CPA. Konti na lang CPA ka na eh.
- Pag lagi mong binabalikan nareretain sa long term memory mo yan.
- Magpractice kang magshading. Bawal magkaerasure sa boards. Malaki yung chances na di mabasa ng machine pag may bura.
- Discipline is the Key.
- 4 and a half months lang ang review so make the most out of it. Mabilis lng yan.
- Take the opportunity na meron ka at ibigay mo na lahat ng meron ka para makapasa ka na. Make sacrifices sa sarili mo na alam mong makagugulo sa pag aaral mo.
- Masarap isipin na magpapasko ka at CPA ka na.
- Kaya mo yan. Kailangan palaban!
- Mahirap sya pero samahan na lang natin ng FUN.
- Sinimulan ang laban, dapat tapusin ang laban.
- Hanggat may nagtitiwala sayo na kaya mo, hindi ka pwedeng sumuko.
- Normal lang makaramdam ng pagod. Normal lang mahirapan pero sana kahit makaramdam ka ng hirap, makaramdam ka ng pagod hindi ka susuko, hindi ka hihinto sa pag abot ng pangarap mong maging CPA.
- "Kahit may mga bagay talaga na hindi natin kaya basta para sa mga mahal natin sa buhay pipilitin natin gawin."
- Focus on a single review material per subject. Maniwala ka wala ka nang oras kase. Mas okay na na paulit ulit mong nabalikan yung iisang review material kesa sa maraming review materils pero isang beses mo lang nabalikan. Take it from my experience when I took the CPA boards and Bar exam. Wag masyadong mapangarap sa mga rereviewhin.
- Never give up.
- Wag mong itaboy yung mga taong mahal mo at nagmamalasakit sayo habang nagrereview ka. Mas maganda na sa journey mo na ito eh kasama mo sila para pag nakapasa ka andun pa rin sila para samahan kang magdiwang sa tagumpay mo.
8. Sir Tamayo
- Be Persevering. Perseverance - : continued effort to do or achieve something despite of difficulties, failure, or opposition
Nothing is impossible with the Lord. With Him everything is possible. On your greatest weakness He will be your strength. Kapag naiisip mo hindi mo makakaya, manalangin ka sa Kanya dahil lahat ng bagay posible sa Kanya. Makakaya mo dahil sa Kanya. Makakaya mo dahil naniniwala ka sa Kanya. Makakaya mo. Kaya wag kang susuko. Mas lalo mo pang galingan. Mas lalo mo pang pag igihan. Mas lalong nahihirapan, mas lalong ginagalingan. Mas lalong nagsisikap. Mas lalong tumatapang lumaban at mag tiis sa lahat ng hirap. Endure. Be patient. Do your best and leave the rest to Him.
